NCCAP Web Site and More!

As
part of our ongoing efforts to make the NCCAP web site
a place where members and potential members can easily
access information about educational opportunities,
we are looking for state association web sites for activity
professionals.
Our
new webmaster is currently building this valuable page
on the NCCAP site, and we would like to be able to add
as many state association web sites as possible. Please
respond to the NCCAP Bulletin Board posting with your
state's web site so that we can all enjoy the great
opportunities that your state associations provide.
The
next phase in NCCAP's growth on the web will be to make
our newsletter available electronically. In order to
take this next step, we will be looking at the number
of people who renew and list their email address on
their renewal form. With this information, we can see
how many of our members have Internet access and if
posting the entire newsletter on the NCCAP web site
would be feasible. When filling out your renewal form,
please add your e-mail address so that we can continue
our research. Please also let us know through the NCCAP
Bulletin Board if this would be a service that you would
be interested in.
We
are continuously making improvements to the NCCAP site.
We have a new Bulletin Board, it loads quicker, and
has potential for many interesting conversations available.
We also have educational opportunities, ideas on how
to get continuing education hours, and up to date information
on the NCCAP Standards as well as programming information.
Over
250 people a day visit the NCCAP web site. We are amazed
at the number of "hits" from all over the
world. Visitors from Cyprus, Austria, Estonia, Japan,
Ireland, Spain, and Israel-just to name a few. As the
NCCAP web site grows, so does our organization.
