university or other professional body. CONTACT HOUR:
The amount of actual instructional time. This
would not include breaks, meals, evaluations,
wrap-up or registration.
INSTRUCTOR/PRESENTER:
The person or persons providing the instruction.
MULTI/CONCURRENT
SESSION: An educational program
involving a variety of speakers presenting on a
variety of topics. Attendees normally have a
choice of which session to attend.
REPRESENTATIVE:
The person completing the application and serving
as the NCCAP contact on behalf of the sponsor.
SERIES:
An educational session with the same speaker or
speakers covering the same subject material over
a short period of time, e.g., 2 hours a week for
4 weeks. Must be completed within 30 days.
SPONSOR:
The person, facility or association offering the
educational session.
